Posted by Newkirk Plaza David on Mon Feb 8 13:33:16 2010 Last Wednesday was a new class - - Urban Transportation Policy (I am reading Kay's "Asphalt Nation" while typing this message.).Let's just say that about half of the class objectives are NYC subway related. And the professor was discussing what "722 miles" meant - - of course I answed that questions succinctly. Later on, he also started to discuss about people making that "NYC Subway Ultimate Ride" as we call it - - initially unaware that he had one student who performed that feat, twice. I need to bring a can of shaving cream to class this Wednesday so I can mask my foam and try to shut up. LOL, I already had two female students who want to sit next to me. :-) |

Some of the profs are indeed very btight and seriously interested in teaching. OTOH some of the students... And so sometimes it does feel like high school, but some of it has been great. |
