How ironic that I used to ride those D-types on the (then) weekly Nostalgia Special, while the class of cars in the train right next to them, are now today's Nostalgia Special...but a fond look back, all the same. |

I remember around 1960, we would always leave the beach at 4:30PM, so we could take the "E" train home. We changed for the "D" train at Jay Street and rode it almost to the end, to Bedford Park! Felt out of place with our beach stuff with all of the commuters! |
