Now you must let the LION know what is happening with those trolleys with the Christmas lights on them. These are 110v light chains. Do these PCC cars have 110v power. They collect 600 v dc from the wire. The room lights are what 30 volts in series?ROAR |

A lot of Philly trolleys have 110v outlets in them,what prompted SEPTA to do this, I don't know. Sure comes in handy for the Christmas lights.I'm a dummy about electricity, but I found this: Convert Looks a little tricky. |

Many of SEPTA's operators that work the 15 daily call them POJ-II's.POJ=Piece of junk. The bodies are patched together ,any small accident reveals rust areas almost immediately. Plus others problems too numerous to mention.. |

The Kawaski's (some of them), derailed at Cumberland loop. SO SEPTA got nervous and banned them on the 15. When the I-95 Girard Ave, rebuild is over, the Cumberland Loop may disappear. No issue any more..I-95 Revive |
