Lol! Its almost always 10-30 minutes late by the time it hits New Brunswick. On a good day, it would be 5 minutes late and catch up to schedule by Hamilton or arrive just on time at Trenton. |

What's the reason for such a delay??? It doesn't pick up school kids in NJ does it??On Monday, there was an assault on one of my coworkers on the 3:07 to New Haven, involving what looked like school-age girls, to which I have heard 2 of them were nabbed Wednesday. Those afternoon NH trains between Stamford and Bridgeport can be kinda troublesome according to what a good number of conductors and trainmen have told me (Though as a former NYCT conductor having worked lines that picked up at some of the worst schools and neighborhoods in the city, I doubt the NH can ever come close in drama!!) But them school kids and their antics do cause delays and problems, so I wonder if that train of yours has the same problem too? |

He is refering to the fact that these LIRR sign boards should be used only for displaying LIRR trains departure times and not NJTRANSIT info...even though a NJRTRANSIT train was on track 13 at the time. Got it? thank you....I know you need things explained at times...lol |

Though I will admit that they are helpful for the occasional NJT train on a track shared with the LIRR. And it also helps identify trains stopping at Secaucus (where a transfer to trains to the Meadowlands can be made). Though I will admit that the graphics on the display look a bit cheesy. Also a bit of a pain are the way that the station list and connections are displayed. They're generally inconsistent with the LIRR style (as they ought to be). It doesn't list the terminal station with the others (Since when do Trenton trains terminate at Hamilton, NJ?), they don't show the stops the connecting trains make, and the train's destination in ARIAL? Tsk tsk tsk! Here's what I think it should look like. |
