Blank subway line circles @ Times Square |

Posted by rbseabeach on Thu Nov 19 17:57:03 2009 There are two blank circles above the new subway entrances @ 42nd Street & 7th Avenue. I know one red one was for the 9 train, but what was the extra yellow for? Was it for the D or perhaps the Q diamond? |

When the Q and W started running on the Broadway line in 2001, the ACE was removed and replaced with [blank]NQRWS12379. When the 9 was eliminated, another blank was added. The circles never held a diamond Q. |

Are you sure it wans't a circle with a yellow D remember I think the D stopped @ Times Square and I think it had a yellow circle to signify it was running up broadway. |
