What part of the blue line did you ride? Did you make it all the way to Long Beach?

I liked the Blue Line. I liked the Gold line best, but the Blue line was fine. I hated the Green Line.....

Better show love for 'em.

(If I ever hit the lotto jackpot, I just might rebuild an old E-unit with two 12-710s and AC traction motors, as a high-speed demonstrator.)

I don't think that I've ridden the green line more than maybe 10-15 times. I hate the freeway stations because they are so loud.

The gold line used to feel really slow, but they sped it up a couple of years ago and shaved a couple of minutes off the ride. It's weird how some slow sections can make a ride feel really slow even when they only add two minutes. Psychological I guess.

The reasons that I'm not high on the gold line are that the LACMTA plays favorites and spends lots of money on the gold line to attract "choice" riders. They did get them because lots of professionals ride the gold line and nearly none ride the blue line. Still the blue line has 3 times the ridership and gets very little improvements.
