Posted by NJCL2308 on Fri Jul 3 22:57:54 2009 After looking at this post again (http://www.subchat.com/read.asp?Id=803094) I realized I forgot to U/L the picture I got coming home from my girlfriend's house on Tuesday, 6/30. Multilevel 7008  Silverliner IV 317, the end of train 9747  Multilevel Madness! ALP46 4623  Train 9791 will couple up to 9747's consist in Trenton to form one Mega-Train back to Philly.  The two trains kiss.  Train 3870 leaves for NY, with ALP46 4625 pushing & the front pan raised "SPAX style"  SIV 282 on the east end of the mega-train  SIV on train 4749  Three-train meet! 4749, an Arrow III extra, and a W/B extra from Jersey Avenue with Multilevels.  It's cab car 7014 up this time.  Arrow III 1400 on the west end of train 3872 in Rahway.  Arrow IIIs in Woodbridge on train 3441.  Car 1382 on the east end of this ridiculously long ten-car train. They are scheduled to leave Newark Penn off of Track 4 two minutes before my train (5747) is scheduled to leave off of Track 5. 3441 is frequently late, so Dock ends up making us wait for them to leave, even though our "official" connection (3875) already came and went at 7:06. So not only does 5747 end up leaving late, but we end up getting a bunch of people from 3441 as well. As well as people from an extra PATH connection. And since 5747 is an express, we end up getting a bunch of local riders who just run and jump on the train without asking questions. |

I take a "Railfan Day" on every vacation with no issues :o) I taught her how to chase on our Arizona trip.....she drove while I shot away. She loved it!!!  |
