Some of those old SEPTA cars brought back memories, especially the Almond Joy MFSE car.

Should paint on the floor near the Philly cars (between the rails), the 'standard gauge' for comparison to the broad gauge.

Thanks, Bob! When you posted that first batch of pictures, I was puzzled at first why there wasn't anything from the new display building.

The last time I was there, they had just poured the foundations for that building. Later this summer I'll have a chance to visit Pittsburgh again, although I'm not sure yet whether I'll actually be able to do it. I'll be sure to visit the museum again if I do.

Great photography Bob. I just was informed that the fools at Scranton scrapped ex-Red Arrow car # 26, that had been involved in the fire in Philly. Their fault that it burned in the first place! It should "never" have been stored at the unprotected Laurel Street site. And in my opinion, it should have been restored. What a crime....

I can't believe the number of Philadelphia trolley cars in the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum collection. That includes a good-sized
fleet from the 'normally cooler suburbs', as well. PTM certainly does live up to its name.
Excellent production, Bob.

Excellent pictures! I know I'm getting old when I see a 1960 Budd car in a museum. Remember my first ride on them in the summer of 1961.

Great photos, it's nice to see these cars are protected from the elements, too bad other museums cant provide the same protection, thanks for the photos. Karl M
