I'll try this shot again. Bombardier is making the new CTA 5000s, but where...somewhere in NY??? The CP loco is moving the married pair to a "test track." Again, where and why doesn't the factory have its own test facility? Finally, the CP is reported to be an ex D&H with the cutouts in the plow for work on a third rail commuter railroad.

No it wasn't.

I asked the question at the end of January and got LITTLE RESPONSE to my questions. There was some discussion of CTA 5000, the cars received in the 1940s.

I want to know more about this special movement by CP...where, why, how?? I am told that no other 5000s will be moved like this for testing. Where was this one-time testing done? And finally, what about the cutouts on the plow of the diesel-electric?
