That should be fun - definite step up for the passengers from the older 60' stock. Minor downside on the way that some operators handle the R68A but no doubt with time and effort they can adjust well as most of the operators on the Q did when the cars were concentrated there. And now, for the first time since they were just about new, you can see out the windows again (yeah, there's the film in the way, but better than scratchitti).So good luck with that! |

I would need an additional 96 (75'cars) cars to make full service plus spares or roughly 120 cars. If I got all, then some R-44s might be retired. Coney Island would still hang onto the 9 singled for (FS) service. |
