My mistake, I apologize.

In that case, I'd have a lot worse problems than taking photos, considering that taking photos is still not illegal.

Are you so stupid that you would think I don't know the difference between the MTA police and NYPD transit Bureau.
And being that MTV is right on the Henry Hudson Parkway we have MTA police at our depot daily to wash and fuel thier cars.
So come on by so that I can introduce you to some members of the MTA highway patrol, we'll see how tough you are in person.
I have a feeling you'll wet your pants, cry and run with your tail in your ass!

I won't. It what I always wanted to do since I was a little kid growing up on Delancey Street. I am one of the few people who can say I ended up doing what I always wanted to do. And since I'm 39 I still have 16 years to go till retirement, and I probably won't retire till they make me go.
Are you doing what you wanted to do since you were a kid?

MTA highway patrol?? No, that is under the jurisdiction of the NYPD Highway Patrol. MTA police generally patrol their toll bridges, not expressways and parkways.

No, the MTA highway patrol patrol the Henry Hudson Bridge, Triboro Bridge and all MTA properties.
They also patrol Madison Avenue bus lanes in the rush hour.
I know because like I said they stop at MTV depot. Also I was pulled over for speeding on the Triboro bridge by the MTA highway patrol. I cross the Henry Hudson bridge one or two times a week and I see them sometimes sitting on the Bronx side and giving out summonses on the Manhattan approach.

MTA police were REAL MACHO when they harassed a female photographer earlier this year but DIDN'T UTTER ONE WORD when her entire photo club showed up the next day to protest her treatment!!!

The harassment and abuse of photographers really needs to stop!

So this MTA Police highway patrol is a distinct entity from the MTA Bridges & Tunnels police?

Very different. TBTA officers are strictly limited to TBTA properties. The MTA police highway patrol are a state police department but generally stay in the city. They have Harleys and full motor patrol uniforms breeches, boots and Sam browne belts.
Rumor has it that the chief who started the unit was in the NYPD and for whatever reason was rejected from the NYPD highway patrol.

No, the MTA highway patrol patrol the Henry Hudson Bridge, Triboro Bridge and all MTA properties.

Those two bridges are TBTA properties. So why aren't the B&T Police in charge there?

They are the primary officers. But TBTA officers prior to 9/11 did not have guns except for Sargeants are higher. After 9/11 they were organized better, issued guns and specialized units like radar enforcement, etc.
The MTA highway patrol also patrol these properties but are not always there in high numbers like the TBTA officers. Also TBTA are only peace officers where as MTA police are police officers.
When this all went down especially after 9/11 there were a lot of pissing contests and petty fighting between the two departments, like taking pictures of the other guys sleeping on duty, etc.

MTA police are a lot like the Port Authority police. Lots of money, overtime and power but NOTHING to do.

I'll be honest and as a kid growing up in the Lower East Side I would have taken anything in Transit. But I guess buses is the route I took since I like the outdoors and as I got older I started getting a little freaked out in enclosed places.
I was just talking to my wife at dinner tonight telling her that even though working at NYC transit is tough I have had a few assignments over the years that I loved getting up to go to work.
I saw your video of your NYC model setup and its awesome! Seeing all the detail you put into it shows you really love transit.
The only thing I would have to write you up for failing to sound your horn when passing through the station when not stopping!
