"Living off the grid" is OK for folks in the woods, not so good for traction motors. :)

One other question: What kind of tails need tracks? Lobster tails? Pony tails? Pig tails? Fairy tails? Tuxedo tails? 8-)

So construction workers on the 7 extension don't die.

It's a 10-car train (3 pairs of R33's, 5760, 6609, 6239, 9306), so it probably wouldn't have been able to fit in there anyway.

The reason that lone R-62 set was spotted at Corona Yard a week or two back was so the guys at Corona could study how the external speakers were hooked up to the train, for when they eventually try to do the same thing to the R-62A's.

The timers are slower but service has been maintained pretty well, just maybe at the worst point we're 2 behind, so they make us an extra or push us out. This is due to the extension project, but there are stop arms there in place and there is no third rail beyond times square. I've never heard of an incident of an overrun at Times Square, but yes the times do clear alot slower especially 2 track, 1 track isn't as bad.
