Yeah, even I have to agree here. It's not specifically the "Christmas" season, but the trees are specifically associated with Christmas, so they're Christmas trees.

...using trees to celebrate like that is a pagan ritual, though.

Yes, but the electric lights themselves are characteristic of Christmas. We don't call a menorah a "holiday candle holder" or something like that.
