Cant wait til I hear the announcements on the J. I want to railfan the J, but I dont have much time on my hands && many people tell me the J line is pretty spooky.. Maybe I can ride up to Jamaica during the weekend. Has anyone seen the R160A's on the J during the weekends? |

I just want to know if this is just a general stereotype? Ive never rode the J into Brooklyn or Queens. If I am traveling to Broadway Junction, I usually take the A. People picture East New York/Bway Junction as horrible but it really isnt THAT bad, however, I dont know about the J line in Brooklyn or Queens. Can you shed some light? |

I've also ridden it at night and I'm not much of a tough guy.The only line I've ever felt nervous on was the 3 between Crown Heights and New Lots at night. That's something I've since avoided. |

Nothing wrong with the J day or night..It not like the old days..where it was a crap hole..with dangwer lurking around almost every corner. It's pretty safe now..I ride it all the time even "late late" nights coming from work sometimes. If you want to know the truth about it..it's boring now..so I guess thats a GOOD THING. |

It pretty safe now concidering how bad it use to be. Just be watchful/mindful of your surroundings. Anywhere and EVERYWHERE you go. |
