Chris, they have their own cars. CT does not own ALL of the M-2/4/6 cars. They only own a portion of them.

LOL! You're mad I called you an idiot after you told me to move my "dumb ass"??? If you don't want to get called names, don't attack people first!

No, I don't know where to find you, but why would I need to? We're having an online discussion. I posted about an annoying problem that many M-7A cars have. You defended them by attacking me, while making a very stupid comment. So I attacked you back. Looks like I hit a nerve. Looks like you can't handle the internets. Like I said, if you don't like getting attacked in defense, then don't make an offensive attack. You brought this upon yourself.

I'm still right, by the way. There is no escaping a vibrating car on a packed inbound AM Peak train. You have no answer for that.

I'm enjoying your railfan adventures. Keep 'em coming!

That platform at New Canaan with the cars parked right up next to it looks odd to me. It's way too short and the cars right next to it are just out of place. We don't have any platforms like that out here and I don't remember seeing any like that on NJT or LIRR the few times that I rode them.

"I pity any Amtrak rider on routes using the Hudson line today. In the third pic, you can see the sign stating that an Amtrak train is "70 minutes late". Those riders were lucky. Another Amtrak train was announced as being "200 minutes" late!"

Sounds like the Late Sore Limited is up to it's old tricks. NICE Photos, BTW.

Thank you for that piece of advice to use in the mornings, jackass. I will see if that makes a difference, dipshit.

The platform at New Canaan can platform 6 car consists with ease. It's easily the best looking station on the line, with a real old-skool railroad station feeling, as the New Canaan sign demonstrates. It's built into a hill, so the parking lot on the west side of the ROW is level with the high platform.

The only two times I rode Amtrak on the Hudson line (both times from Hudson), I was at least 30 minutes late arriving at Penn. NEC Amtrak trains seem to have an easier time keeping schedule.

Thank God Amtrak doesn't traverse this area anymore.
