But the person I responded to made it sound like they were still keeping the CI cars there, and simply running them on the R. I didn't think they were doing that. So those are not necessarily the same cars. Like I said, they probably sent those cars, being Phase II's, to Jamaica, so now both they and the others that were already there, might be stored in CIY and run on the R. They use the 46's as well. |

Back in 1969-70, anything and everything was thrown together. You could see up to five different car classes in the same train. And this was on the IND/BMT! Luckily I never saw the R-10s intermixed with anything else, although it was done on rare occasions (and please don't post THAT photo). I would have thrown a screaming fit otherwise. |

Well, we know it's not a Rockaway Park rush hour only train as those photos are on the Lefferts branch. My guess is that it was a freak event: B train gets subbed in for a broken down A or something like that. |

Those cars belong to the A line now. It's just that management reads the board and are probably laughing themselves silly looking at the foamers going schizoid. |

I have not talked to any of the new T/O's fresh off the street. The way they look they are going to have problems since they like to keep to themselfs. The only good thing about me being a T/O I will never have to work with them or talk to them unless they get promoted to supervison.Don't get me wrong if I see someone who shows their fellow co worker respect and willing to learn I have no problem with them. |
