I said that almost all of the relevant results didn't turn up. Googling "Atlantic Yard" gives 534 results. Googling "Atlantic Yards" gives 501,000 results. |

It's not quantity - it's quality. And Googling what he asked about gave you a QUALITY link as the #1 result. |

The only people who call it Atlantic Yards are those who have a stake in the Nets Arena project. It's where LIRR stores Flatbush Ave trains during the middle of the day, sort of like a mini West Side Yard. |

NY POST ARTICLE: RATNER'S PLAN HITS BIG $NAG (Was: Atlantic Yard) |
|
Posted by Terrapin Station on Tue Jul 24 14:37:11 2007, in response to Atlantic Yard, posted by BusRider on Tue Jul 24 12:44:51 2007. I saw in the NY Post yesterday that the city is making or doing work on a yard called the Atlantic Yard does anyone know anything???I know a lot. The article's photo caption incorrectly implies that VD Yard is named "Atlantic Yards". ATTN NY POST: AFAIK, "Atlantic Yards" is the name of the development. Is is not the name of a yard, nor is it the name of an area of Brooklyn. LINK RATNER'S PLAN HITS BIG $NAG |
