I also heard there was a Trans-Atlantic rail line from the US to England. Built during the 1940s. An interesting story considering the war. But I don't believe that story one bit. |

SilverFox didn't post a joke, or more correctly, he wasn't trying to fool anyone. He was just making up crap in response to a question that most people here know the answer to and which said answer can be found at nycsubway.org with minimal effort. He seems to get his jollies from such things. While almost all of us knew before even clicking on the post that it would contain nothing factual (because that is SilverFox's style of late, Douce Man has not yet learned that. But that shouldn't matter, because he very well knows where that line was supposed to go. He should have realized it was BS in about 3 seconds. Instead, being Douce Man, he entertained the possibility that there was some truth to it, even though it flies in the face of all reason. THEN, when we tell him that the post was not factual, he doesn't listen to us and insists on waiting for confirmation from SilverFox. There's no hope for this guy. |
