LACMTA Red Line Signal Aspects

Does anyone know the various signal aspects on LACMTA's Red Line? (I'm taking the precaution of assuming that the different lines' signaling systems differ.)

I know that signals only appear at interlockings, as in WMATA. I also believe that the Red Line is either semi or fully automated.

Thanks,

its a ''flashing green'' when you can pass a red = stop
the light rail i do not see any interlocking just signal only
i will look to see what the red does

What's a flashing yellow? I've seen that at the end of the line, right before the yard leads.

Are there non-flashing aspects?

Thanks.

LACMTA Signal Aspects (1994)

Red Line:

GREEN = Proceed on cab signals, stright route
YELLOW = Proceed on cab signals, diverging route
FL.RED = Call-On, restricted speed
RED = Stop and Stay

Blue Line:

FL.GR / RED = Block Clear Normal
RED / FL.GR = Block Clear Diverging

GREEN /RED = ATP equipped clear normal
RED /GREEN = ATP equipped clear diverging
(There is another train between you and the next signal, trains with failed ATP systems cannot treat this as a clear signal)

FL.RED /RED = Call-On Block Occupied Normal
RED / FL.RED = Call-On Block Occupied Diverging
(The difference from above being that now there is a train [or failed track circuit] directly within the interlocking)

RED / RED = Stop n' Stay

Green Line:

GREEN = Proceed on cab signal straight
YELLOW = Proceed on cab signal diverging

FL.GREEN = Proceed on cab signal straight block occupied
FL.YELLOW = Proceed on cab signal diverging block occupied
(as ATP proceed above)

RED = Stop n' Stay
FL.RED = Call-On (as above)

These are from an an APTA 1994 conference paper, which also mentioned that the blue line was to be brought into correspondence with the other lines' aspects in the future

Thanks. This information might be slightly outdated, since I've seen flashing yellow on the red.

This helped a lot, though. Thanks again.
