And what was funny was that his battery was going low, and he took it out of the camera, and he started shaking it and saying how it will charge the battery a little bit, but it was still dead.

He told me he had 5 or 6 (I forget how many) spare batteries in his backpack. How the hell could he deplete them all?

This year, it's on the 5th, no longer the 8th which is my birth day. I remember when I was a freshman in school, and I was going back home on the , it was an R40, and they pulled the cord right before Kings Highway, N/B, train was out of service, then me and my friend got off and New Kirk because the other R40 we got on, something did not seem right to me, and when it left, there was some smoke coming from the train, then when we got on the 3rd train, we got stuck behind the 2nd train because of smoke conditions. And this was all on my B'day.

Interesting. I would have expected that the end cars of a five car set would end with a 1,5,6 or a 0.

Well it would, except the MTA decided to start the R-160 numbering immediately following the R-143s, which end at 8312. Personally, I think they should've skipped 8313,14,15 and started at 8316, but I guess they don't want any more gaps in the numbering system (like 5480/81 between the 44s and 46s).
