Wow...After reading that site...I NEVER knew cops actually felt like this about the Public! I knew of the SOCIAL Government...but these people place themselves on a level ABOVE THE LAW in terms of FEELINGS.. What really amazes me is the constant fall back on 9/11...as the reasons WHY they treat citizens this way. These guys actually feel that the ONLY RIGHTS we have are the one THEY GIVE US. Insane for sure. I wonder if these guys have had the PROPER PSYCH profile done on them? |

On AND OFF Duty.. |

Seems that board is a haven for the kind of "asshole" cop we all know and hate. You know, the ones which use every excuse to throw their authority in your face instead of chasing down dangerous criminals. The kind that that would have been concentration camp guards, not soldiers in the Waffen SS on the Eastern Front. I am a huge supporter of the police in general. I have cops in my family. But I also realize that many cops are absolute assholes. |

Pretty Tough Words there Chris...I dont agree with you Often but you are dead right its Sad really... Thats why Some of these New York City Cops cant work in other Places with attitudes like that, it wont be tolerated even though im sure you have cops like that all over... My brother is a Cop in Harrisburgh he tells me The Cops out there in PA laugh at the Cops In NYC.. You Give Respect you get Respect.. It's Not "Respect me Im a Cop(On or Off Duty) or Else"... |

Guess that makes a lot of folks liberals too,if I saw someone wearing a headwrap operating a train..and thought nothing of it.The POTIENTIAL terrorist here are ALL OVER...so we MUST dress accordingly... How about we all wear uniforms..hats..jumpboots...and carry little red books while we're at it? Maybe some arm bands for the different races...if you couldn't tell already. |

Get a load of some of the terrorists detained in London last week. A few are white Europeans, recent "converts" to Islam. Western society cannot be destroyed unless it commits suicide. We're loading the revolver and we're slowly raising it to our collective heads. |

It's the ones who think they're the emperor of the world that I have a problem with. OTOH I had a friendly chat with one during the Subway Series back in 2000 on the ramp from the 7. He told me in a nice way that I couldn't watch the game from the ramp, which I was cool with. I was on my way back to the subway, anyway. |

Many people have forgotten all about using plain old common sense. That's what happens when it gets legislated out of existence. |

I specifically have a problem with the ones who like to bust a teenager's chops, but usually end up trailing a chase of a real cop. |

Pocketing the camera was wrong enough. But searching through your photos is an invasion of your privacy. Feel bad for what happened but do what you have to do to make this right. We got your back, Man.Until then..... ALP 44 |

There hasn't been anyone there or at B'Way Nassau for a month or so. Ever since they announced they didn't want to pay for overtime, or something to that effect. |
