The Q's current service pattern duplicates that of the post-Chrystie QB except that it operates 24/7 now, as opposed to the rush hour, peak direction-only pattern of the aforementioned QB. |

I never rode on either variant of the QB, but I do remember seeing them On Saturdays in the fall of 1967. We raced one up Broadway once. Our R-32 Norton zoomed along while the R-27/30 QB slowed to a stop ar 23rd St. |

When it ran as a rush hour only service, the QB equipment was part of the M Line’s car fleet. QBs were also staffed by M crews although one or two QB trips were covered by RR crews. |
