Don’t like Flock cameras? Imagine this.

An idea that I’ve had is that they should put cameras at subway stations and on buses catching fare evaders just like toll or traffic enforcement cameras. But because people don’t wear license plates, it would instead do facial matching and match everyone to each prior instance of their own fare evasion. If they’re then ever caught the old-fashioned way, they would be obligated to submit their identity to the database and would then be charged with every prior offense within the statute of limitations. They would then remain in the database for a period of time and would automatically be charged with each subsequent offense.

This would help make the subways and buses better for the 99%*

*The top 99%. The real enemy is the bottom 1%.

Foot pedal operated by the driver takes the picture. When the amount reaches over $1000 you can charge them with a felony.
