Williamsburg and Bushwick have changed. Service to Nassau St from Dekalb Ave was always empty. I would take it occasionally if the M was at Dekalb already up to Chambers St for the 4/5. The few people on it got off at Lawrence/Jay and Court St. |

It was because of this service change (the early put in W I used to ride on from Pacific St. (now Barclays Center-Atlantic Ave) to Whitehall St. was discontinued) that I switched to the 4/5 to get to work from the LIRR Atlantic Terminal. I was very happy to get the W back several years later as I often used it to get to midtown from lower Manhattan. |
