[PHOTO] Can You Identify The Movie ?

Posted by Bill Newkirk on Thu Jun 11 13:54:20 2026

Here's a mock up of a 1939 WF Steinway car in a mock up of the 50th St station. The film it appeared in was not the 1968 drama "The Incident".
That film was shot on the 3rd Ave el in the Bronx and was produced by Warner Brothers. As you can see in the upper right hand corner, this was an MGM film.
Judging by the clothes of the two gents, I believe this may be in the 1950's or 1940's as a second choice.

So what film did this appear in ?

Thank you, I don't recall the 50th St station, but I do remember the 3rd Ave el shot. Next time this flick shows up on TCM, I'll check it out.
