Posted by irtredbirdr33 on Tue Jun 2 10:25:38 2026 Tuscarora Almanac for June 2 1892 – from The Book of First Runs New stations on the Sixth Avenue El are opened at 18th Street and 28th Street. 1917 – from The Book of First Runs The IRT Jerome Avenue Line is extended from 149th Street to Kingsbridge Road. 1954 – from The Book of Last Rubs This will be the last day of trolley service in Altoona, Pennsylvania. 1975 – from The Book of Last Runs The Penn Central Railroad closes the Highbridge and Mount St. Vincent stations on the Hudson Line.
