Penn fire and damages

Sorry if this is the wrong board but I'm not seeing a RailChat. Any details on the actual damage done to the Penn tracks/tunnel and why the repairs are taking so long? The news just says cable fire. Thanks!

Newsday says fire damage is repaired and normal service shou resume Saturday

Fire i volved lines 3 & 4 while line 2 is closed for rebuilding. This left only line #1 for bi-directional service in and out of penn station.
