There’s a big difference between enshrining two-person operation in state law forever, and letting the process play out via collective bargaining as other workplace staffing issues are.While I personally prefer having two staffers on each train, it says something that in the vast majority of rapid transit systems in the world, OPTO is the rule (and works well). |
