It has all that ice, wind & snow you could take. Plus the folks up there are friendly and prices are much cheaper than downstate. Not only that, if you get bored, you can always jump in your ride and scoot up to Montreal to kill a day or hop on the ferry across Lake Champlain to Vermont to hunt Moose or Elk. If your lucky, you can get a glimpse of "Champ"...Lake Champlain's version of the Loch Ness Monster.I know all this from visiting my son when he for four years was attending SUNY in Plattsburg. |
