Posted by Wakefield-241st Street on Fri Feb 13 23:49:26 2026 Here's a somewhat rare holiday weekend for free LIRR and Metro North combined travel on the same weekend.Metro North is free between Wakefield on the Harlem Line and University Heights on the Hudson line to GCT. This is due to the 4/5 partial suspension. Then go downstairs to the LIRR platforms and take a free ride to Jamaica station or any point in between, thanks to the E reroute to 179. Just make sure you have OMNY or a credit card. |
