[PHOTO] R-4 #867
Posted by Bill Newkirk on Fri Dec 19 14:03:58 2025 Larry Redbird may have some info on this. R-4 #867 was invoked with a serious collision. Nothing on this appears on the nucsubway.org website. Date of photo is October 30, 1964, so this happened before that date. It appears the motorman was pinned inside his cab and was extricated by cutting out the car body .

The accident took place south of the 15th Street-Prospect Park Station. She was scrapped on or about August 10, 1964. Standard 2237 was scrapped in January, 1965 Credit goes to Mr. Eric Oszustowicz for this information. Larry, RedbirdR33
