Occasionally they are used in through service to Brighton Beach. They have had flanges added to the car bodies to bridge the gap at station platforms 1960 from The Book of Last Runs The Erie Railroad closes the Pavonia Avenue Terminal in Jersey City. The only remaining services were the eight weekday trains of the Susquehanna Railroad.
