Excellent!One thing I noticed when I looked at an aerial view of this via Google Maps is at least then much of the infrastructure was still in place so that it could be rebuilt at least to where both platforms at Atlantic Avenue on the main side of the (L) could be used while the Snediker Avenue platform could be rebuilt to use for storage and possibly short turns. |

The entire point was to consolidate, not to have unused platforms. And what happens if suddenly they need to run a train to an unused platform? Gates are locked, everything is even dirtier than it normally is. |

They did not keep it in place in case they decided to rebuild it, it was more likely kept in place for structural reasons as support of the remaining active segments in that location. |
