You hear all that. That goes with the territory. But back in the day, nothing was worse being a toll collector after a toll increase. I knew a few of them and was told of the condition of a few of the bills that was offered for payment (think TP). In addition to the nastiness and insults, change was occasionally thrown into the booths.A good week to be on vacation. |
