The world was changing when the fair re-opened in 1940. World War 2 had already begun. Several of the countries did not re-open their exhibits and Poland had had already been overrun. Many of the young kids who went that fair would soon find themselves fighting in places like Guadalcanal, North Africa and Normandy. Larry, RedbirdR33 |
