Have They Been Acceptance Testing New Equipment on the Brighton Line?? |

Posted by heypaul on Sun Mar 9 21:03:04 2025 Last Sunday, I posted this here:I was in a mild fugue state on a n/b Q, when I perceived a s/b fast train wrong railing on the adjacent express track. I was shocked and imagined that they were now testing newly delivered cars on the Brighton Line instead of the Sea Beach. But then I wondered if it was actually right railing on the s/b Express track and I just misconscrewed what had happened. If it had been wrongrailing on the n/b express, it would have really created more of a shock wave being so close to our Q. Nobody responded to my post. Today it happened again. I feel like Richard Basehart in that classic Twilight Zone episode "Nightmare at 20,000 Feet". He was just released from a mental hospital (just like I was) and he was flying home with his wife. He was a little anxious because previously he had a nervous breakdown on a plane, which precipitated his stay in an insane asylum. On today's trip he was a little spooked when he saw a furry gremlin walking around on the wing of the airborne plane, which seemingly disappeared whenever he alerted his wife or the stewardess. Well that's how I felt today, when I was again on a n/b Q between Beverley & Church, when I spied again a train wrong railing by on the adjacent n/b express track. This time I am certain it was wrong railing on the n/b track. I just got a glimpse of the last car that was signed G. And it was not a G bullet above the storm door, but a larger G more on the same level as the motorman's windshield. So what's going on? Why wrong railing? And why is this happening to me? |

Hell just frozen over. I finally found one of your posts somewhat amusing.I assume you found the post linking to the SNL spoof somewhat amusing and not my post describing my sighting of a wrong wailing G on the express track. |

Was there anything walking on the wing of the train? No, of course not!! There were, however, about dozen large pods that were beginning to hatch. |
