Every reference is to Metrocard when they themselves would like to make it disappear from use. OMNY even has a few fare structures not supported by Metrocard, and these aren't listed yet they advertise them as being a big benefit. Incompetence at the highest level. |

As a side, the free bus lines (M116, B60, etc) will cease by the end of the year (date TBD by NYCT) because the funding was not approved in the NYS budget.Not that they'll pay once they do have to pay....... |

They also don't have the Access-A-Ride metrocard that comes with 4 or 8 rides per day. 8 if you have a Personal Care Attendant (PCA). It can't be used on X-Bus but does have the standard transfers to/from Bus/Subway. |

Davey and the Chairman didn't like the "optics" of Free Fare bus routes, and used classism to justify his reason for his opinion.What fell flat with his argument was the fact that both He and the Chairperson are smack dab representatives of "the Man Culture", and did not have the right to criticize. Not only that, but the MTA taxes Every One ,even those who don't use the system, but use it's bridge and tunnel network. Soon it will be getting congestion toll money from drivers coming in to Manhattan.. And they plan on doing Nothing to increase service for people who decide to stop driving into 'the City". So,once again, people are getting bled by this crooked ass agency, and getting nothing in return. |

They should just implement all-door boarding systemwide, with or without Eagle teams. The people who pay will pay regardless of vehicle-door. If we're going to have fare evasion, at least let it make the trip faster. |
