No, for two obvious reasons.

Someone was setting fires along Central Park 2/3 lines. Set this car on fire at 110 St. The Train Operator died after directing passengers to the exit. 36-year-old Garrett Goble was the name of the Train Operator.

According to wikipedia the suspect was later apprehended on a unrelated matter.

Actually, I take that back. There were some R-142s in service on 9/11/01, but they did not operate on the 1, and as several others have mentioned, the pic was at 110th St, which is nowhere near the WTC, so you still fucked up.

Nothing on the subway was burned on 9/11? That's the best answer I have...

There were R-142s and they operated on the 2, which is the train this happened on. Also the 6300s are the first “century” of R-142s.

Mostly answered. The collapse of the WTC towers would not have had that kind of an effect on subway cars that might have been sitting at Cortlandt Street.

They might have been crushed but they wouldn't be intact but with no windows.

There's a memorial for Goble in the exit on the NB platform at Flatbush on the 2/5.

This is one of those tales that is as sad to read today as it was when it happened.
