There is a special MetroCard for those with physical disabilites. This card is when used in the box next to the slam gate (on either side) will cause the door to open.I only saw this in action once. There will obviously be an OMNY card ro eventually replace that MetroCard. |

The senior discount card does not work in it. I tried it when exiting one time with my bike, I think on the way back from my photo session in The Bronx. I just lifted the bike over the turnstile like I always do. I guess even a senior citizen doesn't get any special treatment if he's still riding a road bike. |

The progressives in charge of our state want to bankrupt everything to rebuild in the way of their ideology .People avoiding the fare are simply vomiting crimes of necessity due to systematic racism . Everything works on it now.Not clear to me how. I have a senior Metrocard. It deducts $1.35 for each ride I take. The MTA hasn't sent me an OMNI card to replace it. |

For entering through the gates, every card now works. It used to be only specific cards for those with disabilities that required such. |
