I found a 7/11 that had a supply of OMNI cards.It is at 23rd St & Park Avenue South (107 E 23 St off the NE Corner of 23rd). If you go to that store when you enter stay slightly to the right, after about 6 feet the Gift/Shopping Card display boards will be on your left. As for CVS, Duane Reade, Walgreens etc., I think it may be a while until they start carrying the cards. One thing I noticed is that each of these chain stores have almost the exact displays selling gift/shopping cards right down to what cards are placed where. I have a feeling that it is a company that provides the display boards and the cards to these chain stores and they haven't figured out what cards will have less display space in order to have the OMNI card there. What % fee of the sale the stores collect might also be at issue. |
