I think they already started on the Brighton Line, and yet I didn't see a single leaf down there. Everything is late this year, my garden is still flowering. |

Yes the Brighton slow order is in effect. Northbound from Ave H to the north end of the platforms at Newkirk. The green balls are on the last light pole on the north plat. You also have one southbound into Kings Highway I believe, we grab a huge reduction before we even get to the powerhouse that is by the Ave P overpass. |

Makes sense at KH - I was once on a Q express (R-40 slant) that slid more than two cars past the end of the platform due to leaves. They ended up opening only the back half of the train, and announced that anyone in the first five cars should go back through the train to exit, and waited in the station for just about five minutes to allow people to get off. When I got off the train, I could smell the burnt leaves...subfan |

I can't count how many times we overshot coming south into Kings Hwy in the Fall over all the years I've ridden the line (since I was 5). From half a door to a car length.I too miss the slants on that line, could ride the RFW without my Dad needing to hold me up to the window. Also miss the Tower, you could wave to the towerman from the end of the south plat. |
