Take The Pelham 123

The only places where that couldn't work was in areas around Park Avenue South on the street (28th St., and when Garber met DCI Daniels in the car) and on the 14th Street and 23rd Street platforms. Anyone can correct me if I'm wrong, but that's the information I've been able to gleam, and from personal observation after seeing the movie 100 million times since I got my first DVD copy in around 2001 or so.

Out of the many movies I’ve seen, it seemed this one was the most realistic which is why I asked. Even the model board, compared to the remake.

So are 23rd St. and Union Square. "28th St." and "51st St." were done probably at either Hoyt-Schermerhorn with a fake wall or Court St. The tipoff there is that station signs hanging from the ceiling are parallel to the tracks. "Grand Central" was shot at Court St.
