2021 East Penn Traction Meet |

Posted by Elkeeper on Wed Oct 13 14:07:19 2021 Did anyone else, besides me, go to the East Penn Traction Meet, this past weekend? Sadly, the size and attendance had dwindled, compared with previous ones. However, it was great to chat with "Subway Al" again! |

Hello El Keeper, Chuck GWell, I was there Saturday at the EPTC 25th Meet -- and yeah, it was VERY slow. At 11:10 AM when I arrived Saturday, I was paid registration entry # 222 There were a number of empty vendor tables. And at at all as many the number of vendors as seen at all previous EPTC and other traction shows. I had 3 of my own O-Scale Trolley modules in the "automated relays" layout which was set up near the hall's main entryway. We were hooked up with that large Bridge-Pratt Street Trolley Module with the (most of it missing) very tiny section PTC / SEPTA Frankford EL Structure on it. There were also NO "open house layout tours" for this meet. I also opted to not have one as I do at my EL-Trolley layout room every year.
