this is probably a re-post. Either way it's great footage.

After almost 50 minutes of eye strain I was left in awe of what once was.
Imagen if the East New York. Fulton, Atlantic Elevated complex was built underground?
Think of the possibilities?

Thanks for sharing!

Yes, great footage including the R-10's on the "A" along the Fulton Street Line, and the conversion in progress of the Rockaway Line for NYCTA service too!

Thanks for posting and sharing this!

Youtube recommended it. Hopefully their algorithm will find more good stuff.

I feel constrained to defend riveted or welded steel elevated structure. Chicago has managed to make the "L" (never "el", thank you), a almost sacred icon of the city. Movies and TV shows inevitably visually show "L" scenes to identify Chicago as the locale. I have to admit to recommending reinforced concrete with a ballasted deck if the Jackson Park line (Green) is extended to Stony Island Avenue, which is what God intends.

2 platform conductors at Euclid to clean out trains and a step up ATD booth on the northbound. They took alot of jobs out of a well designed system

Great footage but snooze-inducing music.

Lots of mean old BMT standards, that's for sure.
