After almost 50 minutes of eye strain I was left in awe of what once was.Imagen if the East New York. Fulton, Atlantic Elevated complex was built underground? Think of the possibilities? Thanks for sharing! |

Yes, great footage including the R-10's on the "A" along the Fulton Street Line, and the conversion in progress of the Rockaway Line for NYCTA service too! Thanks for posting and sharing this! -William A. I feel constrained to defend riveted or welded steel elevated structure. Chicago has managed to make the "L" (never "el", thank you), a almost sacred icon of the city. Movies and TV shows inevitably visually show "L" scenes to identify Chicago as the locale. I have to admit to recommending reinforced concrete with a ballasted deck if the Jackson Park line (Green) is extended to Stony Island Avenue, which is what God intends. |
