Ridolph Tuscarora Almanac – February 28, 1953 – The Book of Last Runs Chesapeake Bay Pennsylvania Railroad The Pennsylvania Railroad discontinues steamship service across Chesapeake Bay between Cape Charles on the Delmarva Peninsula and Norfolk, Virginia. The final run is made by the ELISHA LEE. Other vessels used on this run were; VIRGINIA, PENNSYLVANIA, DEL-MAR-VA and MARYLAND.
