First I changed most of the subject heading to a topic that people in their right mind would respond to. Actually, the trains are not sparking as much as they were when I first started running them. I guess the wheels have brushed aside some of the superficial dust and grime. I am thinking about raising the voltage on the tracks from the transformer max of 20 volts to maybe 11,000 volts. I'm hoping to replicate the plasma arc that I once saw Conrad Milster create down at Pratt University's Power House. http://community-2.webtv.net/hey-paul/Arc/ Steve, the PCC's are in NJT livery. I bought them when NJT's Transit Shoppe was going out of business. |
