New Weekender web page

Posted by Jeromeline on Fri Nov 20 23:21:35 2020

Has anyone figured out how to get the service diversions on the MTA's new Weekender page?

It boggles my mind that they took something that was simple to use and conveyed the information clearly and totally screwed it up so it can be "New & Improved".

Click on the line bullet you want at the upper left. It then lists the diversions for that line.

I agree, this is less helpful than the prior version.

That only works starting on Friday, if you try to find out the diversions earlier in the week it just shows you the daily and/or nightly diversions for that day.

Not true. I don't like the new site either, but I just found this-coming weekend's D and E diversions. Click on the D or E bullet, then underneath the large bullet are three choices, Now, Tomorrow, and Weekend. Click on Weekend and you'll see the list, and each item is expandable.

At the time of my original post the only options were NOW and TONIGHT. I know this because I was trying to find out what diversions were going on for the upcoming weekend and no matter if I used my phone or laptop I got the same result. The fact that it has been updated must mean that I wasn't the only one to complain about this issue.
