How to Make It Right

Posted by kp5308 on Wed Oct 28 18:59:31 2020

Back on October 11th a Reading and Northern RDC trip from Reading to Jim Thorpe broke down leaving Tamaqua PA. The trip was aborted, everyone on board was treated to a free lunch, then the crippled consist was towed back to Reading by an SD38:
RBMN 2000

The crew told us that the RBMN would "do whatever it takes to make this right" and we would be hearing from them. I called the Passenger Department on the 16th and was told what would be done. We received the formal reply on the 19th:
Andy's letter

Way to go Andy...I figured he would take this incident personally. The check showed up on the 23rd.

The windows have opened since 2016. I've posted about a hundred shots of them. Where have you been?
