The first double deck MU car is placed in service today on the Port Washington Branch. It is number 200, an MU trailer coach built at the Pennsylvania Railroad Shops in Altoona, Pennsylvania.

Black and white photos seem to give it "age".

Number 200 is currently at the RR Museum of LI in Riverhead.

Bob: I believe that 200 is the only surviving LIRR split level car.

Am I correct?
